Healthy French Toast

When I eat breakfast at home, I prefer a big meal that will keep me full for a while. I love sweet breakfast foods that are satisfying, but the most important thing for me is that all my recipes are simple and easy to make, and require minimal ingredients. For my healthy french toast recipe, all you need is eggs, 100% whole wheat or gluten free toast, and some cinnamon & stevia or truvia and honey. It is kid friendly and adult friendly and I think the best part about french toast is that it never goes out of style.

Ingredients
1 egg, 1 egg white
2 slices of 100% whole wheat or gluten free toast (if you use GF toast, add another egg white to your batter)
Cinnamon & Stevia or Truvia (as much as you want)
Honey

Mix together 1 egg, 1 egg white, a little bit of honey, and a few pinches of cinnamon; Dip both sides of bread into batter and let each side soak until soft/soggy; Add both slices of toast to greased pan; Take off when fully cooked & golden-brown on top; Top with cinnamon, sugar substitute, and honey & enjoy!
