Warm & Chewy Granola Bars
One of the reasons I love making things from scratch is because I know exactly what is going into the food I am making and I have complete control over what is going into my body. I have always loved granola bars because they are easy and really convenient for someone who is busy and needs something that they can eat fast and that will keep them full.
I started doing research on the making of different granola bars and was really disappointed in the ingredients that were being used. I think that if you want something that is more nutritious and even has a better taste then packaged granola bars, the best thing to do is make your own. Here is a recipe I created for delicious warm granola bars that you can take on the go!
Recipe:
Preheat oven to 345 degrees
Mix Together:
1/4 cup buckwheat flower
2 large bananas mashed
3/4 cup gluten free purely elizabeth granola (blueberry hemp is used here)
1/2 tsp vanilla
dash of cinnamon
1 tbsp honey (use agave for vegan option)
Bake in oven for 12-15 minutes in 8X8 baking pan
