Brown Shoe Company's 100th Year on the Stock Exchange

Brown Shoe Company, run by Diane Sullivan, is the owner of multiple succesful shoe brands such as Famous Footwear, Naturalizer, Sam Edelman, Fergie, Vince, Via Spiga, Franco Sarto, and more.

The company just rang the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate 100 years. Not only does Brown Shoes offer family-friendly and credit card-friendly brands, but it also offers a range of current and contemporary brands, making their company one of a kind. Following the ringing of the bell, there was an unforgettable celebration that showcased everything Brown Shoe Company has accomplished over the years. People mingled, enjoyed delicious horderves, listened to hip music by DJ Kiss, and of course, were stunned by the breathtaking performance by Jennifer Hudson. Appearances were made by Grammy award-winning artists Fergie and Nelly, so there was no shortage of entertainment. To me, this milestone is just the beginning to so much more success for Brown Shoes, and what better place to celebrate then in the fashion capital, NYC.
