HIIT is by far my favorite type of workout because it burns major fat and keeps me on my toes the entire time.

If you aren't already familiar with it, HIIT stands for high intensity interval training, and consists of short bursts of high intensity exercises mixed with longer bursts of lower intensity exercises. If you are looking to maximize your burn even after your workout is over, also known as EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption), HIIT is the workout for you. The reason why HIIT helps you burn fat after your workout is simple: the harder your work, the more oxygen you consume; the more oxygen you consume, the more calories you burn.
