Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte
Every time it becomes fall, I immediately feel the need to get festive when it comes to my recipes, outfits, and even makeup. I know that as soon as the leaves start turning, I can expect to see long lines of people waiting to order their pumpkin spice lattes and other seasonal drinks.
Although they are fun and exciting, the issue I have with these drinks is that they tend to be high in sugar and calories. Although they might taste delicious, I would rather make something just as yummy yet healthy in my own kitchen. If you love pumpkin and fall flavors, you'll love this recipe. Luckily, even if you don't love pumpkin, the flavor is not super strong so you definitely don't have to be a pumpkin lover to try it out!
Pro Tip: Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to make it a pre-workout drink!
Ingredients
1/2 cup cold brew iced coffee (I used Starbucks)
3/4 cup vanilla almond milk (I used Almond Breeze)
1 squeeze of liquid stevia
1/8 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Pinch of cinnamon
Recipe
In a blender or bullet, blend all ingredients together on high speed
Stop when it looks light and frothy
Pour over ice & sprinkle with extra cinnamon
