My Weekly Workout Routine

Now that I’m adjusted to my new apartment, I wanted to share my latest workout regimen with you.

Every couple months I like to switch up my entire workout routine, from types of exercises, to which days I work out. This helps me stay motivated and strengthen my skills in different areas. About a month ago I created a plan for a completely new regimen, and now that I’m in the groove of things, I am so excited to share what I’ve been doing. Here’s how my regimen works…

work out days: monday-friday

Peloton (spin) Class- 30-45 min (4-5 days)
Strength/Stretch- 10-20 min (2-3 days)

example of weekly schedule

Monday- 30 min Peloton, 20 min abs/stretch
Tuesday- 45 min Peloton, 5 min stretch
Wednesday- 30 min Peloton, 15 min arms/stretch
Thursday- 45 min Peloton, 5 min stretch
Friday- 20 min leg workout

how strict am i?

As you can see, my days/weeks are always a little unique of each other. I take different spin classes every day, and I always listen to my body to determine the level/type of workout I am up for.

I also would like to add that this is not a strict schedule. If I feel like working out on a Sunday, I will. Sometimes I mix up the days or do the treadmill or another class instead of spin. This regimen is more of rough outline to keep myself motivated and in check.

what gym/equipment do i use?

I luckily have a gym in my building that happens to have all the equipment I need, including Peloton bikes. I originally started using Peloton a couple years ago after my family bought one for my home in NJ. Now, I just log into my account on the bikes in my current gym, and access my account from there.

I also love using the weights and machines that my building offers, but I definitely utilize the bikes the most.

Additionally, I keep a yoga mat, 3 lb weights, and resistance bands in my room so that I can do shorter workouts in my apartment if I feel like it.
